We had booked to stay here for 2nights while travelling around Bulgaria. It all started well when we arrived the guy on reception was really polite and checked us in. We had booked an apartment so I would be able to use the kitchen to prepare meals. Upon arriving in the room the kitchen was empty... Not a plate, pot, pan or even any cutlery. I asked the guy on reception about this and he brought up these items. The room also looked very mistreated, there was a chunk missing from the sofa arm rest, holes and cracks in the walls, blinds were tangled and broken. I still can't understand why there would be a kitchen with absolutely nothing in it! We also noticed we had a room below the restaurant, which you were able to here noise from there in our room it wasn't constantly or excessive. We then checked out the spa and gym and it was really nice and everyone was really friendly. Then at around 12am when I was in bed, there was banging and shouting coming from the room nextdoor, it was unbelievable... A group of guys sounded like they were smashing up the place! I went to reception and was given another room at the other end of the hotel. I know its no fault of the hotel but I can only assume the type of people staying here are pretty inconsiderate drunks. I had hoped it was going to be an upmarket hotel as the pics looked great. Any way I didn't stay the next night and instead found a lovely quiet hotel else where, I highly recommend sofia life apartments in Central sofia
