“Really quirky old building, rooms were good, clean and bed very comfortable, it is on the Main Street but that did not bother us and is excellent for Clark’s Village and shops with added bonus of car parking at rear. Would definitely come back.”

“I must say the size of our suite was impressive. What was more impressive was the cleanliness of the room. Our super king size bed had a supremely comfortable mattress, the room came with a small kitchenette area which we didn't use and plenty of tea and coffee etc and the muffins were a bonus. The bathroom was large and spotless with a great walk-in shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Sleep quality brilliant and we would recommend this property ”

“Exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, and a fabulous welcome. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was over at The Crown (we were given a breakfast card each) which was amazing. We’re definitely coming back. ”

“The receptionist was welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. But I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't available on a Sunday. The day when guests are more likely to want it. ”
