โSuch an amazing welcome. The manager Neung and the women on the staff were lovely and so hospitable. They did everything they could to ensure I had a wonderful stay. The on-site cafe is great with a very good cook, and the rooms are extremely clean. A fantastic place to stay and explore the local area or as a stop-off on the route from Chiang Mai to Pai.โ
โThis place is touristy, but very nicely done. Beautiful grounds, nice room with balcony, nice bathroom. Impressive and huge American style breakfast. Charming Hmong culture show.โ
โIf you want a beautiful and relaxing stay, this is the place. It's so peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. The staff are incredible and super accommodating. The food was really yummy. They even provide transportation. โ
โStaff was friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a medium sized private balcony. Location was convenient for my needs at the time (next to a friend's place). On a major roadway but outside of main town. Building showed some signs of wear (like cracked tiles and worn corners), but nothing that mattered. Everything worked, including the wifi, cable TV, hot shower/bathtub.โ
โI could not imagine from the pictures on the internet that the outdoor pool would be so beautiful and large - one of the largest resort outdoor pools if you consider the total number of rooms. Its water was a bit cold in January. So you need to be brave enough to plunge into the pool, but I expect its water will be warmer in other seasons.
Very, very cozy and well designed to take a good rest.โ
โIf you looking for quiet stay, away from city, in the valley of the mountain region, with gorgeous view from patio/terrace, then Forest Guesthouse in Samoeng, is all you need.
Owners of facility live on property and cook amazing Thai food for guests. Owners speak English and willing to help to plan/book tours/activities according to your interest.โ
