Bel établissement à échelle humaine. Seul bémol est le petit déjeuner qui manque de produit frais.

The Bellaria was truly a wonderful base for our holiday. The facilities were second to none - clean (as in sparkling!), modern, bright, beautifully maintained and presented and extremely well organised. But the thing that stood out above all else was our hostess Monica. What a lovely, kind and smiling lady she is (typical Italian as far as I'm concerned). Monica looked after us like we were family and made us feel so welcome. She simply couldn't do enough for us, was always ready to help us with any difficulty or query. Her English was superb (especially when compared to my Italian) and we had no difficulty with communication. I most definitely recommend Monica and the Bellaria Relais to anyone and everyone. Absolutely first class.
Be aware that the Bellaria is in the hills (a bonus as far as I'm concerned), about a 15 or 20 minute drive into Sorrento central. The views are spectacular on the way down. You really need to have a car or scooter (we chose to rent a scooter and had great time with it). Having said that, there is a fairly comprehensive and regular bus service into Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and all surrounding areas, with the bus stop right outside the Bellaria. Finally, thank you Monica from the bottom of our hearts. You made our holiday complete.
