Best Western Plus Marina Gateway Hotel

"The check in was quite easy and quick. The staff were very friendly and gave some recommendations on things in the area. The pool and jacuzzi were a hit at the end of the day, although it was quite dirty. Parking was free which was a first for this trip to California so we welcomed that but the trade off was no complimentary breakfast. "

"My stay was fine, The room was nice. However, the fact that I was charged $10/night + tax to have a fridge in the room shocked me, since all of the hotel rooms which I have stayed at over the past 30 years have had one, already included and no extra cost. That was a huge "turn-off", and the Rambler should consider putting an end to that practice. The breakfast is unbelievably basic as well. Be prepared to dish out $4-$10 for eggs and/or other proteins at the restaurant right beside the free breakfast area, if that is something that you're accustomed to, at other free breakfast hotels. The Rambler does have a very nice pen in the room that you can take with you as a souvenir when you leave."

"Hotel was clean and easy checkin. Walking distance from train station. Very convenient "
