“We had a great time at Lake View.”

“The staff were all very good. The in-house restaurant was surprisingly good, and the breakfast was excellent. The one thing that didn't work was the surprise $13. parking fee that was not included in the hotel cost. This is a hotel with its own parking lot. I have never paid a parking fee when staying at such a place and don't intend to again. It's not about the money, but the sleazy way they extracted another fee.”

“The property is great. The amenities are quality- nothing is cheap… kitchen is stocked & utensils are not flimsy- bedding is nice. Some good touches like under mount lighting in the bathroom that comes on as you walk in- the temperature is easy to keep constant (which is rare in units) it’s very walkable and the parking is easy ($60 per night). “Clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel does have a few food options near by but car service was wonderful as it’s not near most of the restaurants & shops. Overall great hotel!”

“Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. “Great hotel in a great location right on the water. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good with a great oyster selection and view. Absolutely would come back! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating— especially when it came to navigating parking in the busy lot! Only one small comment: the air conditioner in room 3 sounds like a jet engine, but it did keep the room nice and cold!!”
