Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe

"The property is fine. Although there were visible signs that the rooms weren't throughly cleaned. There was ring spots on the dining table, side table next to the beds and sticky spots on the glass piece in the bedroom and there were strands of hair on the shower liner and towel hook. I was annoyed but since I have my own hotel cleaning bag I dealt with it myself. Additionally, the woman at the front desk when we checked in (checked in around 10pm on a Thursday) was not the greatest. She was nice to an elderly person in front of us but seemed visibly annoyed when we were checking us in. The person who made up for that inte"

"Love the place and have stayed many times. Great concept and venue. Down side they are letting it slip a bit. One of the porch swings is dangerous and about to break. Someone will get hurt. The stairs are dangerous with mats overhang as trip hazards. I have no idea why nothing is done before someone gets hurt. My room was not cleaned as requested on my last night. Got back too late to remedy. Little things like decent basic ping pong paddles are no longer in the budget? I truly hope they turns things around."

"Room was clean. In-room jetted tub worked well. Nice large shower. Bed not very comfortable for me, but I'm very picky due to back issues. Ice machine was a bit of a walk and they only have one on property, which want convenient. The vending machine in same room as ice machine and guest laundry facility and was kinda sad. Card reader on the machine was not working, so if you didn't have cash, you were out of luck. We didn't need to use the vending machine, just an observation. Had a poolside room, which also had a pull out sofa bed, which we didn't need, as it was just my wife and I. Had a fenced area just outside the room adjacent to the pool, with a table and chairs, with a gate that opened to the pool, which was nice. Even when pool was busy, wasn't noisy. Property is pet friendly, also. Overall was a great experience and walking distance from the casinos, shops and restaurants in Stateline. We would definitely stay here again. Front office staff very friendly."

Big Pines Mountain House

"Owners were very accommodating and gave us tickets to get into the private beach nearby which was a perk I didn't know about. I had small issues with the TV remote and toilet and told the owner about them. He was very attentive to meeting my needs. We did not get room service but that's okay we didn't need it."

Station House Inn - Near Heavenly Gondola

8/10 Good

"The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast is offered. You do get a discount at the restaurant next door Toulouse, but it's expensive. There are a lot of breakfast options in the town. Parking gets difficult in the evening. The lobby area is welcoming (comfortable furniture, nice coffee / hot chocolate machine, board games). They offer smores in evening with 2 firepits to enjoy them. There is a heated pool and hot tub. The pool is deep, so keep an eye on kids that are not good swimmers. The pool temperature was good, and they offer pool towels. We met some friendly guests while at the hot tub. There is a private beach (not part of the hotel) near the hotel (less 10 minutes walking; parking available next to the entrance). Entry to the beach is an additional cost but discounted entry is available at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay here."

"Had a great experience at Bally’s Lake Tahoe! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the casino had a fun atmosphere with a good variety of games. The location is hard to beat—everything is within walking distance, including the lake, restaurants, and Heavenly. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’ll definitely be back!I’m"
