Room was musty and smelled damp when we first arrived which we thought would clear but never improved for the time we were there despite windows and doors open. 2nd bed wasn’t even a proper bed, just a mattress on a base barely 8” off the ground and when lifting the mattress to check for lost toys, we found it to be mouldy!
Towels extremely hard and coarse and alwere clearly very old. Bedding and pillows smelt musty and bowls and cups provided were covered in a thin layer of dust.
For a “deluxe en suite” I expected much better and there was no way I could’ve stayed more than 1 night.
Staff were very friendly and helpful but the room was poor and at £130 a night it needs serious improvement, or at the very least a good clean.
