"The rooftop pool is beautiful however you have to find someone to get pool towels and there is VERY limited seating so often you can't sit poolside. The elevators are slow and there doesn't seem to be enough of them for the number of rooms resulting in long waits. The breakfast buffet has an abundance of options however nothing feels personal about the service (or lack thereof) in the buffet area and many food choices is not the same as a high quality buffet with fewer options. The hotel is located directly across from the beach with active construction on both sides. They give you a complimentary drink at checkin to make up for the noise (they forget to mention you can only use the voucher for 4 items of their choosing). The construction noise didn't bother us but we did not have a side room directly facing the construction. There are hundreds of restaurants you can walk to from the hotel."

"The rooms are very compact! Clean, having a balcony doesn’t mean having a view! The uber ride was $25 Singapore dollars from gardens by the bay, back to hotel. We enjoyed our stay."

"I stayed 2 nights at the Marina Bay Sands and was apprehensive about the next hotel. I needn't have been. The Pan Pacific was wonderful experience. Food was good, staff was very helpful and the room was beautiful!! I would absolutely stay there again!!"

"The Hyatt DeNang has all the hallmarks of a classic resort experience. For those that want a luxurious ambience, with a hint of resident culture, this is for you. Learning the ropes takes a day or two, eg. happy hour changes depending on the bar, it's possible to get 2 for 1 cocktails between the hours of 4 - 8pm if you plan it out. Ice cream bars are also placed at strategic locations to keep the youngsters happy too. For families this is a very well thought out resort design. Prices are what you would expect to pay in Australia, the assumption that this will be a cheap holiday will disappoint. Also disappointing was the linen. I am a bit of a connoisseur of hotel sheets, with the expectation of crisp cotton, and a choice of firm or soft pillows. Neither was delivered here, so despite the firm mattress, I've had better sleeps in a 3 star hotel. This resort best suits young families."

"The hotel was good for a central location, but is hidden away behind several other buildings. I am not fond of the self checkin at any hotel, especially when everyone can see your details on the large screens. Finding your way around from the hotel is difficult. Where you are dropped off is not on a main street. You will need to take an external elevator down from the hotel to cut through another business to get to the shopping areas or to MRT. Check out is at 11, but you can ask for a late checkout. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is okay, nothing spectacular. The pool is tiny and the restaurant customers are seated next to the window to watch people in the pool. This is a bit creepy. The rooms are VERY tiny, but efficient. Do remember to close the blinds when using the toilet and in general. The sun will shine in and heat up your room. The AC automatically turns off when you’re not in the room, so unless you want to return to a hot room, close the blinds. Also, the AC only drops to 20.5, so if you’re looking for colder go somewhere else. The bed is quite comfortable. A queen size bed here is not equivalent to a queen in the USA. It’s closer to a double. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can store your luggage when you checkout, but it doesn’t go into a locked closet. Instead it is left sitting out for anyone to walk off with."

"Rooms are spacious but in need of update. The decor is starting to show some ageing. No kettle nor coffee/tea making facilities in the room. No hair dryer in bathroom. Our room had a musty smell and aircon temperature could not be adjusted. Breakfast is ok."
