“I’ve known of this place for two decades and understand it had been acquired by new owners. We were advised two days before arrival, after paying in full, that the pool was closed due to water shortage ( on arrival were told it was a broken pipe) along with the gym. The location is also experiencing a severe staff shortage which means housekeepers are overwhelmed with simple requests. Restaurant staff were excellent but the restaurant was closed one of the two nights ( this is high season) . I...

“We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at the Quarrystone Bed and Breakfast on Salt Spring Island. The breakfasts were amazing and would cost a lot at a restaurant !! They encouraged you to take muffins and pastries away to have later in the day. This allowed us skip lunch. The staff were wonderful ! The farm setting was lovely and we had an ocean view through the trees from our bottom floor unit. It was helpful to have a fridge in the room too! Room was very clean. The air conditioner...
