“This was truly a 5 star stay! We stayed for 2 nights in the off season—late October. The staff were very friendly and kind, even before we arrived! Great communication on what to expect, and they had pool towels and goodie bags for our kids ready and waiting for us! They had an immediate back up plan and solution for when I accidentally locked myself out of the room and were very kind and helpful! The room was very clean and the property was in great shape. “Reeds is a wonderful place to stay but the bed seemed stiff and extremely noisy when getting in and out of the bed. The mattress did not fit on the frame so not lying on a flat supportive system but was fine while sleeping.”

“Loved the ocean front view. Room was nicely updated, but the in wall air conditioner/heater was noisy - came on often throughout the night, disrupting our sleep - we were not able to shut it off with the remote control.”

“Front desk lady was really kind and helpful. Appreciate cape may hospitality. ”

“Great location at a very reasonable price. Very clean rooms and very courteous staff. I highly recommend!”

“I mean it's a motel in the nice part of the Jersey shore. Bare Bones, clean, and everything you need for a couple nights today. Nothing fancy. Fairly affordable and got the job done.”

“the Edwards room was small , especially the bathroom. It had a pocket door. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast amazing . Anna the innkeeper did a wonderful job. She was informative, friendly, and understanding, We had to leave on the 29th, I became ill. We love Cape May and recommend it for couples and families.”

“Every aspect of our visit was wonderful. We loved our room. The property is beautiful, easily accessible to many areas in Cape. May. Very easy to walk to places.”

“They use a cleaner that smells like vanilla, smell too strong for people with sensitive allergies. Other than that, grand and elegant old hotel, with great boardwalk access”

“They had a really nice breakfast on the closed in porch where the sun came through in the morning. Parking is always a bonus. Staff were friendly. My room had a noisy mini refrige which I did report, but lost 2 nights sleep.”
