It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. “This is a very nice property. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. The inn was charming and the breakfast was very good. The property is in a great location with lots of activities close by. It also has a cute little bar area. The only negative was a very small bathroom, but it’s not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend.”

“Excellent and comfortable place to stay in beautiful location. Welcoming owners. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Recommended”

“Everything about my stay here was a dream! The view is unbelievable and both the rooms and common spaces were incredibly clean, cosy, and stocked with all the amenities one would need. “Very old fashion rooms. Twin queen beds were comfortable but dated. I liked the den area were your group can get together and talk. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly.”

“The property was beautiful! Our check in was easy. The room was clean and bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious.”

“Room was clean. Staff helpful. Didn’t get a chance to have breakfast either days, the system of pre filled form for breakfast didn’t work for us. Didn’t get a chance to go to the bar”

“what a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Green Mt's!! Beautiful historic inn in a beautiful setting...great host's and excellent breakfast in a dinning room overlooking the grad ends full of flowers. We'll be back! Highly recommended!”

“Our stay at the Chesterfield Inn was absolutely wonderful. The inn is sweet, charming, and full of character. We slept so good and our room was so peaceful. We were treated to a beautiful sunset, enjoyed a delicious breakfast next morning, and appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our stay. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing New England getaway.”
