“This property did not live up to the Marriott family. We planed to stay here and us the indoor pool to find it was closed this no real explanation and not indicated on our booking it would be. At breakfast the only juice machine was broken, which happens and they normally provide carton juices instead. In this case nope just “it’s broken””

“The beds are very comfortable! And, if you like a dark room for sleeping, there is no problem here; thick curtains. I would have slept better but the ac unit kicking on and off throughout the night was too noticeable and kept waking me. The bathroom smelled musty, but the rest of the room was clean. We had to take a cold shower, but the staff told us about that in advance. It wasn’t a big deal to take a cold shower.”

“Room I booked had already been booked, front staff was rude and not helpful at all. When I asked them questions or asked if they could help me out, the lady at the front desk caught an attitude with me. Also took days to get a hold of a manager for a refund.”

“I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a man who knew us by name. We were shown to our room and given a one on one explanation of some of the features and history of the hotel. “I was a little worried when I saw that there were smoking rooms available but our stay was very pleasant and it was clear that no one had ever smoked in our non-smoking room so I was very happy overall! The staff were nice and helpful as well! I would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking for clean and affordable accommodations!”
