"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. However, the hallways and guest rooms felt a bit dated. The carpets and wallpaper looked worn, and I think the hotel is due for some renovation."

"We had a great stay at the Travelodge Dongdaemun! The location is ideal—it’s centrally situated, so you’re never far from the Dongdaemun Market, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and all the downtown sights. Plus, being close to several subway lines made getting anywhere in Seoul super easy. The room was basic, but it was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After being outside in the heat and humidity all day, coming back to a room with great, individually controlled air conditioning was a lifesaver for a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff was also very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you want a clean, convenient base for exploring Seoul!"

HOTEL THE BOTANIK SEWOON MYEONGDONG

"We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the subway and Myeongdong shopping district, and also for the in room kitchen and washer/dryer. They also have a 24hr convenience store next to the lobby which we visited at least once a day to buy ready to make food, ice cream, and drinks. I LOVED the buffett breakfast which had the typical eggs, bacon, cereals, pastries but also had Asian food, seasoned vegetables(PanChan), hotpot, and fresh fruit. Adding the breakfast when we reserved the room was well worth it. The only downside was the large amount of construction around the hotel which took up most of the view from our patio. It also forces you to walk down a rundown alley to get to the subway. I would definitely stay here again for the convenience, the cleanliness, and the breakfast."

"It’s a boutique hotel located in a quiet part of Seoul. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and polite throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast only, but the café on the ground floor was open for snacks and dinner. The staff member who assisted us there spoke English and was especially kind. We stayed in a quad room with bunk beds. One thing to note is that the TV wasn’t positioned in a central location, so it wasn’t easy for everyone in the room to watch comfortably. Other than that, the room served its purpose well and met our needs."

"Surpassed expectations! Great value and location. I was initially hesitant to stay at an Ibis due to a past bad experience in Europe, but I decided to give this location a chance since it was recently renovated. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was great—clean, modern rooms and very friendly staff. A major bonus was that the room was cleaned daily at no extra charge, which feels increasingly rare in Europe these days. The location is excellent, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong or Changdeokgung Palace in about 20 to 30 minutes. My only minor feedback is regarding the bathroom: while clean and mold-free, it could use a modern update to match the rest of the room. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its price, quality, and location!"

"Everyone at the front desk, the housekeeping team, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, and their warm hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and left with great memories.
