โwe absolutely LOVED this place! we were only in maine for two nights, and being unfamiliar with the area i was only going off on online reviews to book, but we got lucky with this place.
we were warmly greeted by the innkeepers, bill and michael, and their perfect 18lb dachshund, BENTLEY! they provided local recommendations as well as contact information for a beach shuttle, and parking lots at the beach that would likely be less crowded [they were correct!]

โThis property has a calm and relaxing feel to it. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. At check- in we were even offered champagne. They have these nice little wagons that have beach chairs, towels, and a cooler to go to the beach. Breakfast was decent and the location is perfect. I will definitely stay at th Haven by the sea again.โ
โJust stayed 1 night with our dog. We were limited by our dog as to which room we could pick. The dog fee is very reasonable, stayed at other places in the area and they over charge for the pet fee. It did the trick for what we needed. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave. Itโs an easy drive to anywhere in the area. I do recommend.โ
โExceptionnel cabins, great restaurant, quiet comfortable luxury. Was disappointed by the very high amour of packaging with their food served in plastic containers if you eat by the pool and for all in room dining meals, which is truly excessive and sad to see. I also wish there was a more attractive spa services with steam bath, hot and cold plunge. โ
โThis place was gorgeous! Everything we would have wanted. 5minute walk to beach, walkable to all restaurants and activities. beautiful sitting area overlooking the water, walkable to marginal walk way, outdoor shower, great breakfast included! It was just picture perfect โ
