Myself and my family enjoyed our stay there . The pool are is amazing with it being kid friendly. The breakfast is very well set up. The rooms were clean and very comfy. I am coming back to St. George in couple weeks and this will be my number 1 choice hotel !

We love the Abbey inn. It is very convenient to anywhere in Saint George. Quick access on and off of I 15. And the breakfast that's included with the room is actually better than I've had in a lot of really good restaurants. We will be coming back again. Love this place.

Stayed one night on a road trip, so we could do some hiking in Snow Canyon State Park. Very helpful front desk staff, clean and comfortable room, and the free breakfast was good.

Didn't know you were going to add another $50 on my charge that falls off later after checkout. Can't remember what they said it was for but probably to make sure the rooms aren't left in shambles. Anyway, this would be nice to know before hand when traveling on a tight budget. I have stayed here several times now and will pay the extra money because it's a nice place. I Was never charged this on my previous stays. I get the charge falls off but I'm traveling in real time on a budget. So, $224 on a weeknight early May is getting too expensive for a Motel chain. Add another $50 and you see a $274 for one night on check in. You're getting greedy. Last time I'll stay now. You have out priced a recurring customer.

I would like to clarify that incidental holds are standard practice in the hotel industry to cover any room service charges or damages. I know our hotel has been doing the incidental hold for many years. I assure you that the hold does get released upon checkout if no additional charges have incurred. We hope you know we do not get greedy with the 50 hold because we don't keep the money if there are not service charges or damages. I hope you can cut us some slack for doing something that most hotels do. Most high quality hotels that is. I am so sorry about all of this and I really hope you stay with us in the future. If there is anything I can personally do for you please let me know! You can call the hotel phone number and ask for the operations manager. I would like to offer you a discount on your next stay. Just ask for McKay. Have a nice day!

The rooms are clean and quiet. The parking lot is very clean. Front desk workers are friendly and efficient. The location is convenient to the airport and hiking. The evening happy hour was very basic, but nice that it was offered. The breakfast area is CHAOS. There are big families bringing in lots of unruly children- as in running, shouting, bumping into other guests, and leaving HUGE messes on and around their tables. The parents all seemed oblivious to their children’s behavior and how it was affecting the workers and other guests. I actually encountered a very little boy running around with a fake rifle pointing it very correctly at me and others, while his brilliant parents carried on with getting their breakfast. I say all this not to bash the hotel (I actually felt sorry for the breakfast workers) but to warn anyone reading this that you shouldn’t expect to have a peaceful breakfast at this hotel. I experienced this complete chaos on two out of two mornings. Not pleasant.

The power was out for hours Upon check in, no updates were offered. No accommodation was offered, then we were put on the second floor which my mother 82 years old with mobility issues and a walker couldn't access the room. Asked to be close to elevator since she can't walk far. We were half way down the hall on the second floor. After we arrived, they were offering other guests 1st floor rooms, instead of offering it to us who had been waiting to get into a room for hours prior. Fast forward to the morning, went to get a luggage rack and the elevator was broken near main entrance. So i had to use the back elevator, but my mom had to sit outside in the back till i brought the car around to get luggage in because the elevator still didn't work by check out. No compensation or discounts were offered. We have stayed here for years, but after this. Never again.

Normally we are able to accommodate a first floor room request and I will figure our with the person who checked you in why they did not give that to you. With the power outage and elevator issues we are working with our different technical companies to resolve those issues. Those problems are very rare for us and we are sorry you had to deal with all of that. We would love to have you change your mind about not wanting to return to our hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. It was good and I would stay again if needed, but it wasn’t good enough to be a “go to” hotel. The sheets were scratchy, the room could use an update, we found one little bug (NOT a bed bug) under the pillows on the bed and our room also had a few small moths.

Great value and well organized. For what it is, this is a good choice. It’s taken care of. They were flexible when we needed an extra 30 minutes for check out. The only thing is that the mattresses were soft and uncomfortable.

We booked two nights there. At the first night, almost midnight, the fire alarm suddenly rang! We saw smoke in the hallway, and then all the guest ran out of the hotel. It was cold outside, and lots of kids were there too, shocked and were comforted by their parents. It took a long time for firefighters to get everything settled. But It still smelled a lot. We had to request a room change, and found a scorpion clawing on the floor right at the door. My kids got freaked out! It was such a nightmare to us! I'm not sure if Expedia or the hotel would do something for this horrible experience?

We have a once in a decade fire at our hotel and we are so sorry how this affected you. Then you had a scorpion in your room which makes your experience as bad as it can get. I feel jipped. No cleaning service. You must beg for that. I was told due to booking from third party which was expedia, they gave .e a crappy room and told me due to booking through third party i did not recieve the room i booked. I have never been treated so badly by staff. They would not acknowledge me in any way. No eye contact. I will never stay at a best western, especially the one i just stayed at. They refused to give me a receipt.

We are so sorry for the misunderstanding while you booked your room. The room was booked through our contracted partners online. They paid for the room and send it over to us. By contract we cannot change the dates, rates, or room type that we receive through their booking. We were not able to be flexible because of this. Also when you check in at 11pm at night (mountain day light time) by that time most of our hotel guests have already checked in. Which when the hotel is nearly sold out we had to give you the room that was booked. Which was a King handicapped bedroom. It was a sold out night so there was nothing we could have done. With regards to the receipt we also could not give that to you because the rate through our contracted online partner is rate private. The online partner has your receipt. We are so sorry for your disappointment and I hope you know it was not personal and we did all we could to help while also staying within the bounds of the contract we have with our online partners. We are so sorry and we hope that we can serve you in the future.

They offered a really great breakfast and also had happy hour with snacks and drinks. Nice pool too. Very friendly staff. Only thing would recommend would be a few more weight machines in the gym. I love to workout when travelling.

The beds sagged so bad in the middle it was impossible for two people to sleep in the beds. We usually like this hotel but would not stay here again. Hopefully they replace the beds soon.

We saw you review and have sent our maintenance team to look at the bed and the bedframes. They should also double check the box spring for us. We are so sorry about this bed issue and will do our best to resolve it. I know the mattresses are relatively new but we'll replace them if we have to. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
