"The staff are amazing, very attentive without being overly, the hotel itself is warm and inviting, enough bars and restaurants which ypu wouldnt expect from the outside. Very unassuming but spot on for anything a traveller would need.

"My husband & I stayed here for one night after a West End show. We’ve done this a few times over the years & I have to say the Clayton Hotel was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in.
When we arrived in our room, we were delighted to find balloons, chocolates, some lovely little cakes & a complimentary drink each from the bar….such a thoughtful touch.
The room itself was fantastic: spacious, with a huge bed and a gorgeous herringbone throw. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a large walk-in shower & full-size Rituals toiletries.
Breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was à la carte with plenty of choice & the staff were really friendly & attentive.
The hotel is also in a great location, less than five minutes from Moorgate train station.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For a four-star hotel, it truly exceeded our expectations & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends."
"Great apartment style room within easy walking distance of the Barbican. Fully equipped kitchen with two hot rings, kettle, microwave and kit. Comfortable bed and quiet room."
