It was my first time staying in St Ignace, beautiful place. I'll stay again there but it'll be in a different Hotel, the hotel room had a horrible smell, stains all over our carpet it looked like gum in our carpet our refrigerator was so small we couldn't even put anything in the door because the little racks inside the door were broken and what really bothered me most is the pictures you see online are not the pictures of the room all the pictures online show that there's a sink in your bathroom I was in two separate rooms and there was no sink in any bathroom it was out in your bedroom the furniture was really old and falling apart the corner of our cabinet that held our refrigerator looked like mice had been chewing a hole on it no microwaves and no room service our bed was nice and soft if you were sitting on the edge of it as soon as you lay down in bed it felt like you were laying on plywood I worked at a hotel for 13 years I would rate this hotel a one and a half

Used to be a two star not improving
Check in was fine. The room had zero amenities as “they are shared by the property and may be an additional charge”. Breakfast was a joke. Stale bread and bagels. The single serve peanut butter was so old the oil could t be stirred back in. The apple juice had zero flavor. Bathroom had no grout and a loose tile. Shower had hug gaps in caulk including around the faucet handle. No housekeeping. This place has gone way way down hill.

The room was clean and spacious. Property outside was well taken care of. There were no blankets on the beds, only a sheet and bedspread. We had to ask for blankets. There was no cleaning service in the rooms. If cleaning was wanted or even clean towels were needed you had to go to the office and request them. The jets were not working in the hot tub.

This hotel was good for a quick decision to get away for a couple of days. We did have an issue with our door not locking and the maintenance man came over in a short while tried to fix it. He had no luck, so he ran over and check with the clerk to get us a new room. Very nice and cordial man.

Not very happy with it for the price!
The door had a big gap when closed, window sill had huge cobwebs and dead bugs on it, bathroom floor had hair left on it and the beds were very uncomfortable!

Grandma and Grandpa up north vacation.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Since they only clean rooms after you leave or on request, it was easy to get extra toilet paper or towels from the front desk. Pool was nice. Continental breakfast was good. Location excellent for Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac City Fort and Cross in the Woods day trips with our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren.

My room was exceptionally clean. The furnishings seemed dated, but that didn't bother me. The bathroom and shower area sparkled!

The guests in the rooms above us were loud until after 11pm. There was a constant banging on the ceiling of our room. When I called the front desk to complain they apologized and said they would address it, but the noise continued. Very disappointed. Our friends had a similar experience the previous night.

My only complaint is people sitting outside smoking which vented into our room. Not pleasant. The room was clean, comfy bed. Good location for us. First floor room is a bit noisy with people above but that's to be expected.

This place was disappointing. They have not kept this place up. It was very nosiy with people above us. However, it was convenient for us as we traveled to Mackinaw Island. There are great places to eat in St. Ignace that are close by.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, our window was broken, the hot tub didn't work, the guests next to us had a broken coffee pot, our key card only worked half the time and the beds were rock hard

Everything was Ok. There was black mold area the inside frame of the bathroom door and filters for the HVAC unit and bathroom fan needed cleaning. The decor was dated and workmanship of upkeep items not high quality. All in all it wasn’t bad but could use some improvements.

We frequent this hotel often, it is reasonably priced, and in a convenient location. This last visit however, we noticed our room is in need of some serious upgrades and renovations.
