I liked my stay at Asteria hotel. I had few hotels during my trip in St. Petersburg and this was a pleasant stay. My room was bright, clean and tidy, bed was comfy and with good linen. I enjoyed location nearby main attractions and restaurants. There are few underground stations, but Uber was cheap and I used it. Also I could reached some destinations on foot. I visited Alexandrinsky theatre next day, that is just 10-15 minutes by walk. I kept my staff in hotel for free while was in the city and in the end of my day took a short ride Uber from hotel to Moscow railway station. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. There were pastry, panckaes, dried and fresh fruits, some local meals, eggs, marinated and fresh vegetables, cottage cheese. I missed Nutella and good cheese on a buffet line, but it’s not a France and they have Russian cheese, so it’s not a big deal. I took a dinner at the restaurant in front of hotel. There is a yard with playground for kids. But no free parking in front of the hotel entrance. If you use a taxi it’s ok.
