"While the room was clean, it was obvious there was a mold problem on the ceiling above the shower that had been painted over at least once. The building is very dated and showing it's age. The elevator we honestly thought was going to break down every time we got in it, with the noises it made. For a one night stay it was fine, but paying the higher memorial weekend price made it not worth the cost."
"A multi-time return visitor to the Danfords Hotel in Port Jeff...
Another great experience!
From the Hotel location, to the clean and well maintained rooms and grounds, to the friendly and accommodating staff who know how to make guests feel special. Well run and in a wonderful little town on water's edge.
A magical sunset to top off one of the great nights as well.
All good!"
"Nothing out of the ordinary for the price the other only thing is the room I stayed in once u took a shower everything leaked out and it can be a hazard to trip although I called front desk it seemed like nobody helped out but it’s alright ."
