“The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. “We booked a last-minute 2-night stay at Heythrop Hotel & Spa in mid-April for a birthday, with a great deal including breakfast, dinner, and wine. The estate is beautiful and peaceful, with an impressive manor setting. Check-in was smooth, though parking can be a long walk—use the drop-off if needed. Our quiet North Wing room was comfortable, slightly warm but with opening windows, a nice bathroom, and handy night lighting. Facilities were excellent—we used the pool, hot tub, and steam room...

“The room was not as we saw on the website, we didn’t have a garden view but a large wall, which made the room really dark, the carpet was stained, the breakfast was ok until my husband saw the chef put cereals spilt on the table back in the pots with the ones to be eaten , there was a big sign outside saying come and look at our refurbished rooms, we certainly didn’t get one ”

“The property definitely has the WOW factor in terms of location and access to the Silverstone facilities. However dont go with any expectation of self catering, minimal facilities which dont include a basic toaster and less than adequate utensils. It appears there’s an assumption that you will eat at the restaurant which looks incredible but quite costly if there for evening meal and breakfast!”
