"Clean room"

"Room was clean . The iron worked . We arrived very late and the front desk was lovely . The pool & hot tub were nice . Breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL ! Different options daily - omelettes / scrambled eggs / boiled eggs / bacon / sausage . Always had a parfait bar . Coffee was delicious ! Waffle bar - they even had sausage and gravy ! "

"We stayed Friday night for one night while attending my daughter’s volleyball tournament at Arizona Athletic Grounds, about 10–15 minutes away, very convenient. At check-in, I asked for a rollaway since I had picked up two extra girls. Staff was accommodating and did their best. We asked about a second room, but were told it required booking two nights due to preset rates, which was frustrating. We made it work in one room with a rollaway. The next day ran long, so we stayed another night and got another rollaway with no issues. The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. However, the jacuzzi was not clean there was visible hair and debris, so I got out right away. There were also no towels in the pool area, so we had to go back to the room to get some. Staff overall was great friendly and helpful throughout. Room quality was inconsistent. The fourth floor was updated and clean, but the second floor felt outdated with peeling wallpaper, loose shower fixtures, and a bathtub that wasn’t properly cleaned. That said, pricing felt fair and the location is great. There’s a Target nearby and plenty of restaurants. Room service was pricey, so we used Uber Eats instead. Overall: 4/5. Could be a 5 with better cleanliness and consistency."

"Our key card never worked a second time. Once we left our room, we had to go back to the desk to get it operational again. There were never towels at the pool. There's a bathroom near the pool but you have to go to the front desk to have someone let you in. The staff at the front desk were not friendly nor helpful beyond the basic necessary level. Maintenance and housekeeping were both helpful. The food was the standard free hotel breakfast. The pool was really cold, which I would not expect for May."

"The hotel is in desperate need of updating. It felt dirty and smelled old. Our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and unfortunately there were no other rooms available. The man at the front desk did try to find us a different room but the only other option smelled worse. I would not stay here again unless some serious remodeling was done. "
