"Went to stay at Mad Monkey for 3 days in the shared dorm for the doublebed room for couples. It was some lovely people and very helpful staf. It has happy hour for 4 hours a day, you get a free drink when arriving and they have aircon in the rooms. The rooms are still warm but feel quite private. We enojyed the pool area, especially at night where you could look at the stars and swim around before going to bed. Bathrooms and showers are shared and looks nice. "Most hotels in Luang Prabang are in the old French Quarters. Manyo is a 10 minute til-tuk or shuttle ride away. A bit less convenient, but also much quieter. That is what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They arranged for private transportation to the waterfalls at a competitive price, and provided a free shuttle back to the airport when we left. If we ever returned to Luang Prabang, this is where we would stay."
