Because I'm not a nature guy, I didn't like the place, but after meeting the staff and walking about the grounds of the compound, Las Ventanas started to grow on me. It is a small narrow road to Las Ventanas, then goes downhill to the gate entrance. There, you will be greeted by staff members as they open the gate, park, then greet by some chickens and crowing roosters. The entrance to the main section of the compound is stepping stones over a pond. The manager will meet with you and staff members will guide you to Wi-Fi free, TV free, A/C free, but lovely rooms. This is a relaxation resort, so only a few rooms are available at max. The pool is very nice and cool, even at night with lighting. Relaxing music is playing in the background in the dining area, perfect for dinner with a couple. Breakfast and dinner is available (breakfast is free I believe). Overall, this place is great to get away from the Internet, traffic, noise, and any other distracts...and yes, I will be coming back. :)
