Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. “Secure parking at rear of property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. The extractor in the bathroom was either not working or not efficient enough to clear the steam from the room. Also if you want me to use the excellent towels for a second day, a heated towel rail needed , or any towel rail to hang the bath towel after first use. ”

“Lovely overnight winter stay. Hotel and rooms are spotless. Comfy bed with quality bedding, everything felt of good quality. Excellent shower and modern bathroom. We chose the Black Lion as we prefer to stay and eat in establishments that do not allow dogs and there aren't many now ( I know some people would disagree and want to take their dogs everywhere but we all need a place we can feel comfortable in and every other venue in town seems to accept dogs now so dog owners have plenty of...

“We had a premium sea view, worth every penny. Staff were brilliant got our room ready early as we were going to a wedding in hotel at 1pm. Room was lush best ever, the view stunning. Everything was perfect. Sachets of hot chocolate kettle, and coffee machine. Iron and ironing board in cupboard. Food stunni g loved our stay.x”
