Nostalgic Trip Down Memory Lane

Sun & Moon Hostel, Thank you. My stay felt like a slice of sun & moon heaven. Peaceful & calming staff. Friendly, fellow travelers. It brought back fond memories of my Senior year of college and the one-time I took, Anthropology 468 at Washington Sate University.

There was plenty of comfortable seating, almost spiritual design elements, and beautiful artwork that made the place feel like a retreat from harsh, cold, modern hotels. The hostel was equipped with plenty of places to charge electronics and the kitchen had everything I needed. I slept like a rock in my bunk and loved waking up to the artwork across my bedroom walls.

The experience was very different!

The experience was very different. It felt nice to have 6 of us in a room with a big refrigerator. The shower stall was really small and only one mirror in the bathroom. And I ended up with bed bug bites all over my body. I would recommend it if you never stay in a hostel before just to get the experience but not sure if I want to come back.

Nothing fancy but nice in good condition. I never used the kitchen but it was full of dishes which was disgusting. Other guests were great to live with but staff wasn’t too good. One kept using foul language like he didn’t care which is rude for that type of environment. Plus, smelled a little bad from the weed.

Great location, friendly staff.

Staff very friendly, lots of things as far as a variety of different eats within walking distance. Bedding comfy. My only complaint was that I paid for a room with a "private bath" and I did not get a private bath. Other than that, great experience. Will DEFINITELY stay again!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Off road car parking available. However room was not cleaned so in a rush the sheets were changed but nothing cleaned. The private bathroom was filthy with grey soap scum round the bath. There is also no key to the private room - it can only be locked from the inside when in it. Overall the rest of the hostel was rather cluttered and bin bags and dirty laundry were left about.

I must of been crazy pay for what you get.

I will never ever stay at this mold and mildew infested place again. Did not complete my stay slept in my car instead. This place needs to be removed from web site.

Good place.

Quiet area. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. I recommend "Gordo's". Great food and has stand-up comedy.
