"I felt safe and my room was done every day, and for the most part the place was quiet. It’s nicely situated, about a 10-min drive from Stanford, and 25 mins from San Jose airport. The gym could use some love, but then again, so could the whole place. All in all, it’s a solid place to stay. "

"Just as others have said. The staff at this property make the visit. They are wonderful. Now that sounds odd to be saying that there is such importance on how the front desk deals with routine and unforeseen issues, and I wouldn't have thought it would until I stayed here. Simple tasks like dead batteries in the TV remote can be very frustrating at many hotels; even chain ones. And they all loved having my dog stay there! :-)"

"The property is very clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful and the free bottle of wine at check in was exactly what I needed after a long day of meetings and travel. The bed was really comfy and the room was very clean! It felt almost like home."

"I usually stay here when visiting my Stanford student son. It's close to campus and affordable. Not fancy but I don't need fancy. It's nice to support a family-run business. They have 2 room units in case we're bringing grandma for a visit, for a small increase in price. This time I was surprised/disappointed that they added a new $5 parking fee, however. Be aware of this-- it was not obvious when I made my reservation at all."
