“Very clean and handy for Balham and the underground.”

“Very responsive host, room was spacious but a tad tired. Bed was small and heavy winter duvet on. Bathroom was tired but clean and functional”

“The room was okay for two nights. Near the Norbury train station, like 5min away. The staff was kind and polite. However, we found that was a bit far for us from main places in London.”

“This is not a hotel, it is a house with digital locks on the doors. Location on maps is wrong. I had to call someone to find the house and for them to let me in. Bathroom is not nice, the sink and shower are clearly blocked. Bedroom was okay but very basic. The person on the phone was helpful but I also got locked out of my room at 5am and couldn't get back in until I sent a message on WhatsApp. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend staying here.”

“Beautiful room, comfortable bed, big size compared to most accommodations. Responsive customer service, but miscommunication with the information provided by Expedia and the property. No room cleaning and change of bedding. The common area wasn't very clean either, but they always provided coffee, tea, milk and cereal. But good price for location.”

“It was ok,”

“Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you”

The walls were scratched, the baseboards were deteriorating, and there was a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Cleanliness was a serious concern. The property appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. There was visible evidence suggesting a mice infestation, particularly in the entrance hallway near the...

“Just there one might - nothing to complain about”

“Good stay here, more in Brixton than Tulse Hill where our daughter lives. Room adequate and very close to Brockwell Park which was great for a swim! Kettle in room for teas and coffees. We thought we may get breakfast as classed as a b&b but this is not supplied.”
