4/10 Poor

"So this is rated 4+ stars on Hotels.com and others, but it is barely a 2 star. First, there is NO elevator so you have to haul your luggage at least 2 flights of stairs up to your room. There are no TV’s, no Kleenex, small bathrooms with very low water pressure in the shower. There were dirty socks and toiletries left in our room from the prior guest. The breakfast that is included is not good, lower quality than any other we have had in Europe. The location is ok, but not the cleanest part of Venice. The staff was fine, but I would not stay here again. It’s really a low grade Pensione."

"The room was clean but outdated. There were dents on the floor that was covered with carpets. The initial room assigned to us was in a dark-lit narrow hallways that can be accessed by going through elevator to 2nd floor then go down the stairs to reach to 1st floor😳. And I have mosquito bites in that room so we asked for another room. They gave us another room the next day but Luka ( front desk man) said to evacuate the room immediately. He said it 3 times) Breakfast has limited choices and set-up of the food and coffee gets the room crowded easily."

"Right outside of the Rialto Bridge. Location was excellent. Saw mouse droppings in an open suitcase when we returned to the room one night but overall the room was clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was better than a lot of other places we had stayed. Loved using an actual key instead of a keyboard. Building was a little dated but wasnt an issue."

"The property is in a very convenient location. The room is obviously outdated. The AC was terrible. The blow dryer did not work and the one I had couldn't convert, so I was stuck. The refrigerator in the room did not work either. I knew it had a shower curtain when I booked it, but it takes away from the upscale feel in the bathroom- its gross to have it keep touching. The breakfast was delightful."
