“Great Hotel once your inside but the walk from the car park is sadly along one. On the day we checked out it raining heavily and I was soaked by the time we got to the car. Room 128 was clean and tidy, but dated. Lights didn't work, cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, sockets and plugs were loose. Nothing that wasn't liveable but in a place like this, its all in the small details. Bar area and Restaurant were perfect, food was amazing both for the evening meal and breakfast. “We were truly delighted with our experience at Buxton Crescent. The hotel had called us a couple of weeks prior to our arrival and asked if we were coming for any special occasion. We told them it was for our 10th wedding anniversary. After we had checked in, we found that our room had been upgraded! It was such a nice surprise. The room itself was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We went down to the spa and it was lovely. All very clean and there were lots of towels available as well...

We travelled early in the week in low season, so the pub understandably wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday, Also there is very poor sign for mobile phone and data and we were unable to get the wi fi password, which made contact for work a bit difficult.
