โWhat a charming place. Loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon. Breakfast was homemade, original one of the best we have ever had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the charm and all the little details, tea, china, furnishings. They recommended a Mexican restaurant for dinner with the best fish tacos ever. Will definitely come again!โ
โThe person that checked us in was friendly. We stayed in room 205 which was a little small but the massively high ceiling made it seem a lot bigger. The bathroom was huge and clean. The sheets on the bed were incredibly soft and the bed was comfortable. The building itself is very cool and has historic photos everywhere. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Best Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich Iโve ever had. โ
โShaw House Inn is an amazing place to stay! The inn is well maintained, the bed was very comfortable, we felt comfortable making use of the common areas, and the breakfast was farm-fresh and delicious! Would highly recommended Shaw House Inn.โ
โI wasnโt expecting anything mind blowing, and the woman at the front desk was really nice and that area was clean, but when I got to my room, it was a different story even though the bed was clean the surrounding room, the bathroom and the kitchen area were also filthy that I didnโt feel comfortable in the bed even though it was the cleanest part of the room I only encountered one cockroach, but thatโs enough isnโt it? It went through an entire package of wet wipes, trying to wipe down...
โFriendly, polite, helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay there They have a continental breakfast but did not partake. I would return to this hotel if I stayed in the area againโ
