"Perfect stay"

"I pulled back the sheets on the bed to find the top sheet had what looked like blood stains. Either the sheets had not been changed from a previous guest or the stained sheet had been purposely put on the bed. I requested the sheets be replaced and they were with very worn sheets that had holes. Only a very thin blanket was on the bed. I requested an extra blanket but never received one. When I went to hang my clothes in the closet there wasn’t any coat hangers but there was a pair of men’s underpants hanging on the rail. The desk chair in the room was heavily stained and the toiletries holder in the shower was broken and rusty."

"its a lovely hotel with wonderful views although the sound of trains underneath was annoying . i will need to request next time to get a different room as when I stayed the last time I'm pretty sure I didnt feel the trains. Will definitely stay again and take my dogs. Another comment is I feel the rooms need a little maintenance but still lovely place to stay Thank you"

"I booked Mantra Chatswood for a 2‑night stay. Check‑in was straightforward, but the customer service didn’t feel very friendly or welcoming. The apartment‑style room itself was very clean, cosy and spacious, with handy facilities like a microwave, kettle, tea and coffee sachets, plus a bathroom with both bath and shower. The room is a little outdated and the bed was quite uncomfortable, which left me with some back pain after two nights. Housekeeping is only done on request, which surprised me as my previous stay at another Mantra included daily service. The location on Brown Street is excellent – very close to the train station, a bit of a walk to Westfield, but surrounded by plenty of food options. Overall it was a decent stay and I don’t regret booking it, but I’d probably try a different Mantra or another hotel next time in Chatswood.”"
