“A proper country retreat. Warm and welcoming - I honestly felt like a bit of a VIP during my stay. The team sorted a room change for me without any fuss and even arranged a late checkout, which made everything so much easier. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. “Great welcome from the staff Room was spacious , clean and well presented. It's an old period pub/hotel so the shower room.eas compact but all perfectly fine. Bed was really comfortable and although my room was close to the road I wasn't disturbed at all through the night. I ate in the pub and the food was excellent, couldn't fault the service or the meal. I had the steak for main course and brownie for desert - amazing! Would definitely stay again if in the area Didn't have time to...
