"This was a wonderful place to stay with the ideal location and beautiful courtyard area. We were very happy and appreciated all the amenities such as washer, coffee, & snacks, too. "
"Modern 2 bedroom apartment very close to the town centre. Very clean and quiet with all mod cons. TV has free Netflix included, however the couch was too small to lie down on comfortably.
Only other negative was a noisy manhole cover in the street which vibrated every time a car drove over it ( not the fault of the apartment obviously). "
"Beautifully presented property, perfect for our stay with our son for his graduation. Short walk to the high street and short drive to the racecourse.
As stated in another review, a bit more soundproofing would be beneficial as the people above had a baby/toddler, but it didn’t spoil our stay."

"This was the first time we have stayed at Lords of the Manor and we really enjoyed it. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Lovely old building with huge charm, big open fireplaces and plenty of lounge areas to relax with a sneaky drink while you look over the dinner menu. we would definitely stay again. "
"Very nice staff.
We were upgraded as it was my partner's birthday and the room was lovely. Very nice big bed.
Our car wouldn't start when we checked out and the staff were very quick to get someone to come round and to jump start our car.
Lovely stay. "
"Hotel was great. Perhaps needed more breakfast staff. Food was served cold ish. Guessing not enough staff on. Otherwise everyone was very polite. 3rd time of staying and we will be back next year."
"The breakfast menu was excellent, fresh and the coffee was very good.
Parking very easy, had a space directly outside. Liked the books, magazines and Christmas decorations."
