“Lovely old Inn with nice rooms. Good evening menu. Really enjoyed every meal. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Only downside antiquated feeble shower.”

“The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

“The carpets in the inn were filthy when walking up to the rooms! The beds were super squeaky and the room got super warm at night. We asked for a fan and were given one that doesn't work. Sleeping was almost impossible for me. The en suite bathroom we had in the double room did not only not have a latch, but the door also somehow swung and was overall very inconvenient - not ideal if you're travelling with someone who's not your partner. “The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive.
