"The property was impressive with the room being quite a good spec. Huge windows offered a lovely view of the lake area and the stand up fan offered relief from quite a stuffy evening. There were some quality amenities and facilities on site too. The parking was ample but even the closest areas required a sizable walk to reception and that is including the disabled parking bays. "It is a lovely hotel, very peaceful and quiet area. It could use a bit of redecoration in certain sites but it is clean enough and still very comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast is superb (I would say above average for the chain hotels) and this is one of the very few hotels where you can actually open the windows! "Hotel is in a great central location for Fairford and the pub itself is very much in keeping with the period style it was built. Being in the market place, if you have a front facing room do expect some early morning noise from deliveries to the co-op and other shops.
