"I have been staying here since I was a kid and love the memories and nostalgia. The rooms are old but always clean. I also love that we can park easily and have a spot right by the front door. One of the reasons we've loved staying here in the past is the breakfast buffet, especially the amazing French toast. We stayed last week, and part of the reason was for the breakfast. We found out that the new management has taken away the buffet option-please bring it back! Especially during tourist season, when there are lots of visitors and not much extra time to wait at tables. When we were there last week, they were out of French toast (and another item we wanted), and the wait for a table would have been longer than we had time for, so we had to leave and go somewhere else to eat. We were bummed: no buffet, no French toast, long waits, and short staffing. We understand that current staffing issues make things difficult-we see it everywhere, including where we live. I'm sorry that's the reality right now. It’s got to be very frustrating. Thank you to the kindest, most lovely waitress who has been there forever-she is patient, understanding, and truly wants to help everyone, even though many things are out of her control. You are a gem. Please bring back the buffet and let everyone enjoy it—it really is the best! We love you, Parry Lodge! "

There was a problem when we got there because we had chosen a room with a “Mountain View” and we were given a room that did not have a “Mountain View”. After ten minutes, the appropriate accommodations were made and we were given the room we had reserved online. Thank you to management for making things right. But overall it’s a great place to stay.
