Last negative, my wife likes her bacon well done, but the breakfast had cremated bacon. Otherwise: situated close to Lincoln, other members of staff were really nice. Having visited a number of times, the food is American diner style. On the whole, we wouldn' go back unless things changed for the better or the price undercut everywhere else."

"The hotel is looking very tired. We had a standard double room, all that was left when we booked. Perhaps other rooms are better. Our room was small, hot and very dimly lit. A heavy curtain had to be kept closed as we got up as there were no nets and we were overlooked from the car park, and the dim lighting made it difficult to get organised. While clean, the bathroom had peeling paint and loose shower controls. Furniture had chipped paint. The bed was comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. The location in the Cathedral Quarter is excellent. "
