Thimble Islands, Connecticut hotel rooms at the Red Roof Inn

"Did not eat at establishment. Elevator area (lobby) has a stale odor. Room appeared to be clean however the Comforter appeared dirty. Sheets were questionable. Bathroom had hair in the sink and shower. I went out and bought supplies and cleaned the room. Stayed there due to daily radiation therapy at Yale. Staff was friendly, no noise so I overlooked the issues. "

"Clean spacious room, nice staff, prime location, no microwave in the room but there is one in the lobby. Great lobby amenities. Convenient store is a bit pricy. "

"I’ve been staying at the Hilton for many years and it hasn’t changed much - still comfortable, still maintained well, rooms are big, bathrooms are clean…only disappointment is breakfast that’s been downsized so there’s no buffet. Individual orders of eggs, French toast, waffles or pancakes are on offer instead. It’s ok, just not as expansive."
