"Wonderful staff and excellent food. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both meals were spectacular. The proprietor really seemed to care that we had a great stay, which we did. "
"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

"Did not arrive till late as my BA flight was delayed. Check in was quick and straight to bed in my room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good."
"The hotel is tired but do not let that fool you. What it lacks in appearance it makes up for in good service and friendliness.
The room is dated but clean and the linen was spotless.
The food was excellent. The man on reception also served at the bar could not do enough for you.

"Very nice and modern hotel in the centre of Newcastle with everything on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. The breakfast option was tasty and plentiful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have Worcestershire sauce as an option, it would have made all the difference!
The room was quiet (as requested) and the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm so the air conditioning was welcome. The only downside to the room was the lack of a fridge/mini bar to keep things cool which I would expect as standard. Other than that, I can’t fault this hot and would recommend it."
