The hotel is between owners and is not staffed nor does it have any services.We have stayed before and love the quiet location on the water.Room was fine and we loved the quiet getaway as always. The hotel should be discounted off rack rates during this transition.

Great, relaxing trip!

We loved our stay at the Tilghman Island Inn. We had a wonderful dinner at the adjoining restaurant on our first night, loved the beautiful views from our room, enjoyed walks all over Tilghman, swam in the pool, and did a lot of relaxing. Sherry and Yasmin were two standout staff members that took great care of us, and all the staff were solid. Thanks!!!

We celebrated my daughters 16Th birthday in Maryland and had the pleasure staying here. They decorated the room with balloons and a card which was so amazing. The rooms are very clean, decorated lovely and the property is beautiful. They though of every detail right down to cold water at the pool and sunscreen if you needed some! I cant wait to go back and see the beautiful fall colors and stay at the inn again:)

The room and beds were comfortable. The staff and owners were helpful. The property is in excellent condition. The TV and Wi-Fi are good. Nearby dining options are limited in the off-season, however, St. Michaels is less than 20 minutes away. Our room overlooked water with beautiful sunsets.

Really friendly staff! Restaurant was really good as was the service. Not a huge menu, but some really nice entries for everyone. I had the rockfish and scallops - wow! My wife had the pancetta wrapped chicken which she enjoyed also. Weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't enjoy sitting out on the lawn and watching the boat traffic and all the blue herons across the waterway. Killer place I'm sure more into the season. Hope to return either May or early fall.

Inn was empty when we arrived. There was no way to a glass of wine or food. Room is clean but it has a loud minisplit and a dehumidifier that cycles in the bathroom. The most annoying thing was a transparent glass door between the bathroom and bedroom making privacy impossible for a family traveling together. We used a towel to block the door partially. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was awful. I regret that we paid twice the cost of a chain hotel.

Going Back In-Season!! Nothing wrong with off-se!

The place was amazing. The desk manager was cordial and fun and gave us a tour of the place. The place was spotless. The bonus which we did not know about was the fireplace in the room! Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - a little pricey but it's Tilghman Island! Breakfast was a little skimpy but 2 great breakfast places down the road! Only real negative was the glass door to the bathroom - no real privacy but could live with it!

Romantic Getaway on the Water

We had the best time at this Inn! They upgraded us to a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tube which was amazing. The rooms had been recently remodeled and everything was prefect. When we checked in they gave us a tour of the common areas and made us feel as if we were at home. Every staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. We had drinks in the bar and the bar tender was very informative and gave us several ideas on what to do during our stay. The view from the balcony was like something from Sunday Morning on CBS. We highly recommend the Tilghman Island Inn!

Early Season Views, Clean, Great Service, No Pool

My husband and I came to stay here for a night for a brief honeymoon/getaway. Hotel was impressively clean and bed quite comfortable. Jet tub was awesome, water views were great, upstairs patio lovely and well worth it. We had a great time. That being said - we were disappointed that the pool was closed :( This was one of the main things we were looking forward to and we were sad to see that it was drained. Didn’t find this information on the website and wish we had known or called ahead. Restaurant was ALSO closed on Thursday nights, and the box breakfast was … lacking? Make sure you also call ahead to other nearby areas if you want to do water sports - I guess this time of year very little is open or available. Learned that the hard way. Even so, we had a lovely time - Sherry up front (and my mom) surprised us with some champagne, chocolates, and fruit. Delicious!!
