“Arrived late, note on reception door to locate keys , easy peasy. Room was spot on, even found an corneto ice cream in the kitchenette freezer. Not good as we had to fight over who ate it! Handy spot with good rooms”

“Clean room, great facilities with kitchen facilities and easy walking distance to town and shops. Allocated parking and friendly, efficient reception. Only thing I didn’t like was the overpowering smell of bleach when I opened the door. I hate bleach & having it in the bedroom and kitchen was horrible. I tried leaving all the windows open but had to go and buy a room deoderiser and perfume spray or I wouldn’t have been able to stay in the room at all. There are plenty of cleaning products that...

“The staff at Bannisters always go above & beyond whenever we stay. Most recently a friend and I booked accommodation for our wives to stay for an early Mothers day present. I informed admin staff via email and a wonderful lady at reception by the name of Jessica upgraded rooms for our wives & also left them a complementary bag of chocolates made by a local confectionery business. “We had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Country Retreat. The private rooms are very comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lovely terrace overlooking the garden, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The owners were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good overall; in my opinion, it could be improved with a bit more fresh fruit and some savory options (such as eggs and ham). Overall, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here.”
