“Although the inn was doing a brisk trade we received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was fine for an overnight stay though the bed was a little soft for my liking. I would definitely recommend.”

“Great quality rooms over a really lovely pub - I recently stayed 2 nights at the Sawmill’s as part of a group booking of all 4 rooms as we were attending a local wedding.
Quality of the rooms is fantastic, especially the larger room 1. Great showers, clean nice facilities, fresh & well decorated rooms. Breakfast was also included which was really good food and made the overall cost of stay really reasonable. Would definitely stay again. ”
“Really beautiful guest house set in the Devonshire countryside and amazing hosts . Made to feel very welcome . Room was lovely , clean and the bed was so comfy !!! The homemade cake was a nice added touch . Delicious home cooked breakfast and beautiful fresh fruit and delicious granola !!!

“Il Waterfront Inn si trova a pochi passi dalla Westward Ho beach, una spiaggia immensa soggetta ad un’incredibile variabilità a seconda della marea, ideale anche per chi vuole imparare il surf. La camera è pulita e molto spaziosa con la macchina per il caffè/te. Il ristorante offre una buona cucina inglese e la colazione, abbondante a scelta, è inclusa nel prezzo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio, anch’esso incluso nel prezzo, è proprio dietro la struttura”

“This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather.”
