“Lovely hotel. In a fantastic location right by the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Worth paying the extra for a room at the back looking out over the Maned Wolves and Lar Gibbons. We loved watching the animals from our room. Beds were comfy, shower was great and the toiletries smelt lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again. “Breakfast wasn’t what I expected, hotel under refurb so restaurant closed and had to go elsewhere with a voucher but not a breakfast buffet which I was expecting.. Also in my room the extraction fan in bathroom didn’t turn off all night ( slightly lower humidity with door closed… Fridge didn’t work so had to throw food away.. also hotel tried to charge again even though I paid in advance last month!”

“Quirky Hotel , little bit dated now but overall nice and clean. Very noisy outside our room during our stay & screaming down the hall way during the middle of the night by some drunken wedding guests, obviously not the hotel’s fault but”
