Bon hôtel 3*
Hôtel très correct au bord du Danube et à proximité de nombreux restaurants. L’hôtel mériterait d’un petit coup de jeune mais sinon il possède toute les commodité qu’il partage avec l’hôtel Delta 4*, tel qu’une piscine, un restaurant et un grand bar donnant sur le Danube. PDJ très varié

Good location
Very good location at port side. Hotel seems to have a new and an old building. We had a room in the older building which could use some work.

Simple but best
I liked that the room had a balcony. The breeze coming from the river was nice and we enjoyed the view of the river and the sunset. Friendly service, such as booking the bus back to Bucharest, was good.

Dissappointing
An old outdated should be 1 Star! Free parking was the best thing about it. And location right on the river side. Carpet in room badly stained. One of 2 night stand lights was not working and not fixed after mentioning it to desk. Hallway had very poor lighting. Spa pool empty. Hair dryer and outlet in bathroom inoperable. Electrical outlet is under night stand, very difficult and inconvenient to access and use. Restraunt poorly staffed. Hall carpet on 5 stained. Overall the whole place needs Deep Cleaning, refurbishing, updating; especially carpets need to all be replaced, electrical wiring, outlets more accessible. Would not recommend as of right now.

Past glories
The 3stars hotel needs a renovation, especially rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was good and had more options, salted and sweet. Spa is free, but sauna was closed. The hotel hosts wedding ceremonies and it can be noisy at night

Ein alter Kasten aus Ostzeiten mit entsprechender Ausrüstung. Das bestellte Nichtraucherzimmer war definitiv ein Raucherzimmer. Die ganze Uferpromenade ist entweder Industrie oder wird gerade komplett umgebaut, voraussichtliches Ende frühestens 2025. Alles voller Baustaub und Dreck.

Hotel mit großen und sauberen Zimmern im Zentrum der Stadt. Geniales Schwimmbad und gutes Gym. Rezeption absolut serviceorientiert und eine sehr gute Hilfe bei Problemen. Räume werden leider überhitzt angeboten. Internet auf den Zimmer sehr instabil und fällt oft aus. Insbesonders abends und in der Nacht, wenn keiner helfen kann. Gutes Frühstück mit wenig Gemüse und unabgeräumten Tischen. Frühstückspersonal spricht nur Rumänisch

Very pleasant and convenient
Perfectly adequate hotel with good car park for very cheap. We had a room looking onto the river and the only drawback was the noise from the patio bar below when they kicked up the music at 1am! But really I only needed to close the door onto the balcony and put on the air conditioner. Overall a great choice and very good postiion.

The staff was nice, but the price-quality ratio was a bit high. The place is a 3 start hotel. For 56 euros a night I was expecting a bit more. What bothered me most during the stay was the fact that there was a party downstairs, ad although we stayed at the 4th floor, we heard the music all night very loudly.

Great location, nice beds.
Perfectly situated near the promenade. Very nice and early breakfast. Fridge and coffee maker in the room. staff a bit sturdy. Nice balcony but no chairs or table on the balcony. This is really a pity. What is the point of a balcony with view on the promenade if you cannot sit on it. No free parking. Nice bed but room cannot be darkened completely.

Old fashioned hotel. But also an interesting place
The hotel i nicely situated along Donau. The hotel is in reality two hotels; Hotel Delta 3 and Hotel Delta 4. "3" is related to "three stars" and "4" to "four stars". The Delta 3-building might be about 50 years old. When you come in to the reception and the surroundings, you get the feeling of the old Romania, ruled by the communists. The restaurant is a "must" to see. Gigantic big with a lot of ta-bles, every one perfectly prepared for ten (10) guests!! And in this gigantic restaurant, we were only two guests in the afternoon served by three waiters! Yes, it was really an air from the old communist era and we almost expected to meet Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu there. However, the food was very tasty. The room needed a significant fresh up. The door was broken (but could be locked with the key). The WC-chair seemed to be from the second world war and the bathtub was difficult to go in to and worse to go out from. The shower handset is not possible to describe. It must be seen! The room was clean, but it was no Internet in the room. The breakfast was "OK" but not more than that. To recommend staying here? Yes, why not? Can be interesting for everyone to live in a hotel as they did in the old communist era. But if you have doubts, book Hotel Delta 4 which is about 10-15 years old.

Al llegar no tenían la reserva, después quisieron darnos una habitación inferior a la que habiamos pagado alegando que era la última. Finalmente nos dieron habitación con vistas al rio. Instalaciones viejas y anticuadas. Desayuno buffet correcto. Piscina limpia pero no funcionaban los chorros del spa ni el hidromasaje. Caro para lo que ofrece.

Une amie et moi avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pour trois nuits lors de notre road trip en Roumanie du 23/08/18 au 25/08/18. Tout d’abord nous savions d’avance que l’hôtel était assez vieillot et cela ne posait pas de problème. Pour la fin de notre voyage très fatiguant nous attendions d’un trois étoiles un minimum.. Le petit déjeuné n’était vraiment mais à la hauteur de nos espérances pour un trois étoiles. Trois choix : saucisses ainsi que des tranches de lard ou des œufs sur le plat baignant dans de l’huile.. Juste un choix de confiture ( abricot plutôt bonne ) et du beur. Du jus d’orange ( chimique ) Des céréales humides. Et des gâteaux avec un bout indescriptible. Mon amie voulait se servir du pain, mais une femme très désagréable lui a retiré le panier devant ses yeux en lui disant it’s close et le plus alarmant cette dame à directement récupèré pour elle les dernières tranches en se les faisant griller.. ( direction la cuisine ) Les tables sont sales et il faut attentre assez longtemps quand il n’y a plus de café, ou de nourriture.. Le jaccuzi était très étrange .. très flou ainsi que la piscine.. La chambre était très propre, et confortable. Conclusion je pense qu’il faut rester dans l’optique que l’hôtel peut être agréable pour un passage de deux ou trois jours en gardant bien à l’esprit qu’il n’a rien d’un trois étoiles. Stéphane

Great location on the waterfront. Fine place to stay while exploring the Delta. Very good German-style breakfast. Great price offered online. No need to pay extra to stay in the 4-star version of the Delta Hotel next door.
