"We were a party of 6 adults requiring 3 rooms and ranging in age from 19 to 62. If you are not a fan of resorts and do not mind not being directly on the beach, then this place is for you. The accomodations are unique and well-maintained, the food is top-notch, the staff is friendly and approachable, and the location is convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. (We rented a 7-person car through Alamo.) Dinner on the night of our arrival was outstanding but expensive -- over $400 without alcohol. We ate breakfast there every day which again was delicious and fresh and inventive but also expensive. The restaurant, pool, cenote, and accomodation were all perfect for us. We had absolultely none of the issues that others have complained about and enjoyed every minute of it."
