The Hotel At Auburn University

"The property is perfectly centrally located to Auburn's campus making everything in town and on campus very walkable. The hotel is very pretty and Grand appearing. They only had one working elevator of the two the whole time there, and no one seemed to be working on it, and the one that was working was slow. Parking is an additional $23/day which is frankly a lot ($28 to valet). The room is spacious and the bed was really comfortable, bathroom large and spacious. The walls are paper thin. could hear people talking outside at the front from our 2nd floor room. There was a sports team staying on our floor and the girls might as well have been staying right in the room with us every time they walked past the door. Front desk staff were very nice. The attached restaurant has nice ambience and apparently highly rated brunch, though we didn't eat there. The pool is small but nice. Have to walk through all of the meeting rooms and ballrooms in your pool stuff to get to it, but not a huge deal. overall it was a nice stay with great location."

"Friendly staff, place was clean and smelled good. Pool could have been cleaner and I wished there was a kettle or some type of pot to make tea in the room and a microwave. They have a microwave on the main floor and tea/coffee on the main floor, but its an inconvenience to keep going downstairs to warm up food and get something hot to drink. Other than that our stay was great."
