It was very convenient to lodge when visiting Joshua Tree National Park. There were enough restaurants around. It was quiet and the room was adequately clean. Numerous things needed repair. We arrived and the bathroom sink faucet had a steady stream of water leaking. The point where the shower head screwed into the pipe had a small leak and was spraying the ceiling. The door knob on the main door needed to be tightened because it was very loose. The light over each bed needed to be be covered instead of just hanging by a wire. One of those lights was burned out upon our arrival. During our stay a new shower head was put on which did not spray the ceiling, but It was a hand held one and was just dangling down to the main bathtub faucet and had no way of being held in place where it should be. The linking faucet was changed with another used faucet which did not leak and was adequate, although the drain plug was missing and so was the pull-up stem at the back of the faucet. The very loose door knob was not fixed. . Although the cleaning lady was friendly and did a great job, and a maintenance man attempted repairs, I would not stay here again and would upgrade to a better place when going to Joshua Tree National Park in the future

Loved the room, which is actually a little bungalow, which included a kitchenette. The view was great, because you are on a hill, well above the road, and you can see into the distance. The proprietor is a great guy, who I found to be extremely friendly. The motel, is very convenient to Joshua Tree Natl Park.

The owner of this property is kind and most genuine. I love the colorful decor. The location is on top of a hill with a great open view of the desert. A worthwhile stay for the money.

If you are Logical, you should have called us right away or come to the office to communicate your issue. We would have loved to help you, fix all issues, and make your stay and well spent. But some innocent like this kind of review drama at the cost of their own comfort.

Owner was very nice. For the price, definitely better than the Motel 6 in town. Larger room with a full size fridge/freezer and kitchen area. Would stay again.

Dear Naim, sorry we had No option. The motel had No vacancy to change your room. We offered a refund, but you refused.One More Point: In the USA, all or almost all motels are very close to the main road; that way is the setup. Noise is a matter of personal subjective assessment.

Wonderful staff!
This was such a clean place and the whole staff was pleasant. Justin brought us a microwave when our room didn’t have one. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone coming from out of town! Excellent service!

The property manager was very personable and welcoming to the area. The cottages are very cute, and have a gorgeous view of Downtown 29 Palms. First choice for a whimsy desert stay.

I'm really enjoying my time here. The staff is very friendly and inviting, encouraging an open atmosphere and easy relations. The location is within walking distance of the entire 29 Palms shopping strip, granting easy access to food and other resources. The rooms themselves are very vibrantly decorated and the beds are super comfortable. I decided to extend my stay after the first night!

yikes. Avoid. I reserved a room here, and was contacted by Expedia to contact the property to pay (Expedia has pay at property listed) or my reservation would be cancelled. I called the property and the gentleman I spoke to would not take my credit card information and Expedia also was unable to help after talking with two different representatives. My fiancé called and explained the situation, thinking the hotel owner understood the issue and he clearly did not. Instead of switching my reservation to his name, he booked an entire new room and charged him. And then proceeded to ALSO charge me for mine. And then would not refund. What a NIGHTMARE to work with this place. Disorganized, no people skills and RUDE as heck. DO NOT STAY HERE.

You blame us, but you have NO clue or are aware that you booked your room at Expedia. WE CANNOT CHANGE THEIR LISTED POLICY AT THEIR WEBSITE.We have to follow the policy you accepted and signed. Please go to any motel websites and read the policy.

The parking lot was poorly lite, was hardly even a parking lot, didn’t have any defined parking spots and had cars tucked into dark alleys between buildings. I was traveling solo and did not feel safe enough to get out of my car by myself, never mind check into the hotel. I had Expedia try and contact the hotel that even and the hotel wouldn’t respond. I went to another, safer feeling hotel instead of staying at 9 Palms. Expedia also tried the next day to communicate with the hotel and they would not. I would not recommend this hotel based on the terrible service and creepy vibes.

You are free to write what you like, however wish you had a sense of logic, you knew the Motel office was closed at 9 Pm. you booked a room at 10.01 PM then YOU CAME TO THE MOTEL ON MIDNIGHT 1 AM. . YOU NEVER STAYED AT THE MOTEL ON 10/27/23 nor YOU WERE charged fees or rent was charged. what is the platform you have to get upset?

Best motel in town
I love this hotel it has the best view in town and the rates are the cheapest u will find anywhere. The staff are awesome here and will always make ur stay more welcome. I would give it a ten outta ten!

We loved staying at 9 Palms Inn. It’s a colorful and unique inn, the rooms have a great view and lots of character and it’s close to many great eats and sights . So far our favorite place in the desert. Will be going back for sure .

The owner was great first of all. Nice man. Other than that the coffee maker was super dirty. I had to clean it before use. Other things were dirty like the table where the coffee maker was, top of the fridge, some of the walls, and the towels and room itself smelled funny. I cleaned the table as well. The curtain was a bit wonky and let light in. I fixed it a little to not allow the light. The fridge though dirty was large and nice to have. The internet was really slow but functional. Very colorful place though. Also the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet but a regular sheet instead which was odd so easy to move around and create discomfort. We didn’t pay much according to today’s standards, so I guess we got what we paid for. Thank you.

They were receptive at first, but afterwards was a different story. The room did not have AC and no screens on some of the windows, so alot of bugs. Parking was odd and on a hill...We left before the fist night.and had hope they'd refund one of the nights, but they said we had to contact Expedia...which isn't the case.

Nothing was deceptive. We offered to change your room YOU SAID no. We said give us 30 minutes we put A new AC in your room. ( we have to slide a new AC in the sleeves) you said No, you had an attitude. the breakdown is universal, even a plane can crash. We depend our living on a guest like you. WHAT AUTHORITY WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE POLICY YOU ACCEPTED AT THE EXPEDIA? YOU BOOKED AT EXPEDIAD. AND ACCEPTED THEIR POLICY. DEAL WITH THEM AND RESPECT THEM.
