At the time of check in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was explained that I need to make a payment there. Yes, I am aware. But she wanted to make sure I understand the procedure. I felt it is nice of her to avoid any misunderstanding. Cleanses- it could be improved little bit with tight sheets tacking. However it didn’t bother me. I had everything I need. The location was also perfect. When I was checking I thought this could be some distance from Joshua Tree NP gates. Actually it is close to East gate of the NP and closer to the center of 29 Palms. If you are not looking for super fancy accommodation, I would recommend this motel. If I can recommend one thing, I suggest them to prepare neighborhoods map, some fast food, fancy restaurant, and the NP information along with the say’s sunset and sunrise time.😊

there is a beautiful view and the place is funky and fun and I felt very safe - plus, the guy at the desk was very kind and welcoming. However, the place was not very clean and the shower was not working great. It is a deal and worth a stay but the price is low for a reason.

The room is colorful, spacious and clean. It’s our second time staying here and that’s our go to spot when we come to Joshua tree. It’s cheap, but doesn’t feel like a motel, which I typically do not like motels at all. This feels more like cabins. The gentleman at the front is very nice and helpful. Parking is right in front of the room so that’s great too. The bed was comfy, the only two things I would suggest is switching the curtains to blackout curtains, as it gets super bright very early in the morning, and a second trash can for the bathroom would be nice in addition to the one in the room. It’s also super close to the 29 palms entrance of the park which also has shorter lines than the west entrance, and it’s so close to the restaurants and shops. We love eating at the Kitchen in the desert restaurant a few minutes away, busy but delicious! Will definitely continue staying here when I come back.

The staff was super friendly and kind...Nick even upgraded me to a king bed room at no additional cost. The room was unique and a fun place to stay if visiting the area. Would recommend updatinf the bathrooms a bit, specifically the showers which had quite a few quirks to put it nicely. Really enjoyed the home-like/cottage feel and the fun colors throughout both the room and the property. Will be back next time I'm in the area😊

Bed was a foam king. Room painted like pee wee playhouse, but the worst possible paint job. Nice to see they’re keeping blind spastic painters employed. Room had no sound insulation, old single-pane windows so all traffic noises on hwy 62/were clearly heard. Heat provided by an electric oil radiator device. Oh, and one of the strangest chairs/sexual devices I’ve ever seen. There was only one trash can in three rooms, as well as only one electrical outlet accessible.

where to begin tv did not work sink faucet ran continuously dirty I walked bare foot on the vinyl floor stepped in the shower and dirt ran out from under my feet the property had extension cords running up walls along floors to hook up electric heaters Old electric heaters at 60$ a night I guess i shouldnt expect much. I could go on this place is dump I use Expedia when every I travel I have never submitted a complaint. you guys need to drop this property from your offerings

Awful stay. My wife and I arrived and left after only 30 minutes, never to return. The place was nothing like the pictures—very poorly maintained, with exposed cables and electrical issues that made us feel unsafe. It was also not clean at all, and overall we did not feel secure staying there. We had to find another hotel at the last minute, which caused a lot of stress and inconvenience.

The room had a little dirt in a few of the corners, I couldn't get connected to their internet and the day after check in I had no hot water. I did get an immediate room change, but that room had heat that lasted only 1 minute then it went cold. I went to the office to discuss a solution, and the clerk/manager thought it better to cut me off and tell me to leave. This clerk got loud and overbearing and frankly out right rude. So I went back to the room to pack and make a reservation at another place. After returning the 2nd key, I thought I had left something in the 1st room and the clerk/manager wouldn't let me go back and check. I had to 'shame' him into letting go check. The guy had been more than friendly in my 2 previous visits but this time he was rude and uninterested in more than 2 problems. After 2 "you gotta go".
