"The property is not well maintained. The elevator was not functioning in the spa building, there were dead insects floating in the hot tub, the jets in the tub weren’t working, the advertised rooftop bar was closed, there was no bell staff to assist, housekeeping was spotty, the couch cushions by the fireplace were filthy, carpet leading up to our room was very dirty. The room needed updating, poor lighting in bathroom, chipped paint on doors and counter, ancient air unit that had a moldy drip, rug under bed kept sliding and flipping up, very annoying. Upon questioning I was told that the property sold about year and a half ago. The new owners intend on doing a total overhaul. The price for this resort is way out of line with the quality. On a positive note, my travel companion said his spa treatments were both excellent and the on-site restaurant, Rascal, is very good. It is outsourced and operated by an independent restaurant group with James Beard nominations."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sedona with plenty of great shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our room faced the mountains, and waking up to that beautiful view every morning was a highlight of the trip. The room was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the pool; it was clean, quiet, and fully fenced in, which made it feel very safe while swimming with little kids. The only minor downside is that there isn’t a full breakfast option—just regular coffee and some snacks in the morning. However, given the price and the quality of everything else, this place is a total gem. We would definitely stay here again!"

"They over booked and when I showed up they told me they had a room at a different property for me. They never called to inform me and I still was charged. Partially Expedias fault but very disappointed with the communication."

"Didn't use pool or hot tub. Rooms were normal clean. Refrigerator was adequate. Coffee machine was fine. Coffee selection was limited except in lobby."

"This is an amazing hotel. The room was basically a whole apartment and it was great. The pools and the staff were first class. I can definitely recommend this place and will be back again."

"Very disappointed for the price I payed for the place. Ive stayed at a lot of time share properties which this one was and I will not be coming back. Let's start with a dead cockroach in the closet. How does this happen? was the room even cleaned before I got it? Ill never know. Then I took a shower with hardly any hot water. had to move the handle over and over again and still would not work. The charging station in the main bedroom did not work at all. Then the air conditioner in the main bedroom was not cooling th room so we turned the fan on which was so loud we didn't get any sleep, I reported all this to the employee at the front desk and seemed like she didn't even care, in one ear out the other. that's impression I got. This property is not worth the price to stay in."
