“The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. “A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. “Spa very good, restaurant service good, staff pretty friendly. Booked 3 hotel rooms, one overlooking golf course had tremendous views, two facing a brick wall and lots of weeds pretty uninspiring. Plenty of parking and easy to find.”

“Thoughtful, friendly receptionists, cheerful serving staff, room had a beautiful view and was clean. No complaints other than old cobwebs in the swimming pool windows and pool was crowded and noisy due to kids swimming lessons, which cut the useable area of pool to half”
